🌎 In recent years the world has changed a lot, one might even say it is sliding into an abyss. In these times of transformation, changes and uncertainty, all of us are rethinking our perception of ourselves and the essence of what is happening, the future, perhaps even the past.
🎵Music and singing can be a lighthouse in this stormy sea, where the shores are not visible, because it is often the bridge between the conscious and unconscious.
🎤In this workshop, we all will sing. We will search for the actual and inner voices, to sing true stories. Those songs will be about what is important in our lives, about the internal compass, about those parts that have long been asking for attention, about happiness to release and breathe.
🎭We will learn Playback Theater Singing Forms. Those forms will make an easier way to play the story of a teller through singing.

🎹The Trainer
Marat Mairovich is a musician and conductor from Jaffa, Israel. He has 27 years of experience in Playback Theater. Marat leads 3 Playback Theater groups in Israel: a group for the visually impaired, a group for immigrants, and “Mabat” – performing group for sighted and visually impaired.
He performs and trains throughout Israel and abroad (South Korea, Germany, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Czech Republic, etc.). During 2020-2022, he collaborated with other performers from around the world to create Zoom Performances such as ‘International Team’, ‘Yonder’ and others. From the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (2022) for 2 years, Marat, together with his partner Andrei Utenkov, hosted a weekly Zoom meeting “One and a Half Rooms at War” – to support the Ukrainian playback community.
Marat professionally plays violin, piano, synthesizers, guitar, and percussion.
